Ambassador McCormick welcomed approximately 300 local travel representatives to the annual Visit USA seminar held at The Langham Hotel, in Auckland

On February 13, 2007, Ambassador McCormick welcomed approximately 300 local travel representatives to the annual Visit USA seminar held at The Langham Hotel, in Auckland.  The latest Visit USA seminar program was an opportunity for the local travel industry to learn about the latest travel attractions and packages to the USA.  In 2005, New Zealand ranked 32nd in visitor arrivals into the United States.  The United States Office of Travel & Tourism has projected an increase by New Zealanders traveling to the U.S. of at least 4% each year until 2010.
