Passport Photos

TWO (2) size 51mm x 51mm (2"x2") identical passport sized photographs must be submitted with all passport applications. They must have a plain, light background and be a reasonable likeness, taken within the last six (6) months. Photographs sized other than 51mm x 51mm (2 inches x 2 inches) will not be accepted.

Should you choose to submit digitized photos, they must meet the same requirements of all passport photographs. In addition, digitized photographs are always produced on digital printers. Some printers will produce a photograph in which the dots are seen. Visible dots distort the image making it look grainy. Acceptable photographs have a continuous tone image that looks photo-like.
