Warehouse Supply Assistant (Wellington)
The Embassy of the United States of America invites applications for a full time position located in our General Services Office in Wellington.
If you are a professional who is driven, flexible and enjoy working in a busy environment, then this position is for you! The Warehouse Supply Assistant will be required to accomplish all warehousing, inventory, storekeeping and other tasks at the Embassy and Consulate Auckland. The incumbent will focus on the receiving and distribution of procurements, delivery and pick-up of furniture and equipment at the warehouse and residences, record keeping of inventory supplies, and acting as back-up to the Shipping Assistant.

Project Engineer

The Embassy of the United States of America in Wellington invites applications for a full time Project Engineer with the Office of Overseas Building Operations (OBO).

If you are a professional who is driven, flexible and enjoy working in a busy environment, then this position is for you! This position will be for a fixed term, for an initial period of 34 months to cover the completion of a project. The Project Engineer will provide office engineering support to contractor’s schedules, submittals, information requests and as-built drawings. Administrative Assistant

The Embassy of the United States of America in Wellington invites applications for a full time Administrative Assistant with the Office of Overseas Building Operations.

If you are a professional who is driven, flexible and enjoy working in a busy environment, then this position is for you! This position will be for a fixed term, for an initial period of 34 months to cover the completion of a project. The Administrative Assistant will coordinate the office administrative functions such as answering phone calls, making reports, ordering supplies, scheduling maintenance, and distributing incoming and outgoing correspondence. The incumbent will also be responsible for managing the Project Director’s calendar and for administering the tracking of funds associated with the project. [more information/position description]

Shipping Clerk

The Embassy of the United States of America in Wellington invites applications for a full time Shipping Clerk with the Office of Overseas Building Operations.

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for tracking shipping, and completing paperwork for private and USG shipments. S/he reports directly to the Computer Systems Manager, and the section as a whole reports to the Management Officer at the Consulate General.
