Governor Christine Gregoire of Washington State was in Auckland on Friday May 12 heading a business delegation interested in agriculture, biotechnology, education and investment.  While there, she spoke at a lunch organized by the American Chamber of Commerce, guests at which included the Honourable Phil Goff, Trade Minister, the Honourable Chris Carter, Minister for Conservation and Ethnic Affairs, and Auckland Mayor Dick Hubbard, in addition to local business people. (Above) Governor Gregoire met with Prime Minister Helen Clarke to discuss a range of issues of interest.
