U.S. citizens (& former residents of the U.S.) who are seeking FBI clearance for employment or New Zealand residency applications should write directly to:

Requirements:

You must send a letter of request to the address above, including accompanying materials as required by the FBI.  For a full list of these materials please visit the FBI website.

U.S. citizens can obtain a standard fingerprint card, FD-258, from the U.S. Consulate General in Auckland by calling 09-303-2724, x2800, or by emailing aucklandacs@state.gov or in person between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. Monday to Friday, or by downloading from the link below.  Non-U.S. citizens must download the standard fingerprint card by clicking here: FD-258.(PDF Document Size: 1.81Mb *PDF Document). Contact your local police station to make an appointment to have your fingerprints taken.
