 E. Keith Thomson, Assistant Commissioner of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection's Office of International Affairs, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, met with American Ambassador William McCormick during his March 7-9 visit to New Zealand.  Assistant Commissioner Thomson is responsible for all international initiatives, programs, and activities within the office of Customs and Border Protection.  He came to New Zealand to participate in the New Zealand Customs Service Symposium 2006 and for bilateral meetings with New Zealand and Australian customs officials.
