Reception in honor of Bill Mercer

Native American art specialist Bill Mercer from Portland Oregon gave a talk about Native American historical and contemporary art to invited guests.  The US Embassy is hosting an exhibition of Native American Art from the Portland Art Museum courtesy of the U.S. State Department's 'Art In Embassies' program. Included in the exhibition are contemporary Native American works from the collection of Ambassador William and Mrs Gail McCormick and contemporary Maori works from the collection of Darcy and Ann Nicholas.
